Need Bail in Chino Hills? Call Herbert Bail Bonds.

Are you prepared for the unexpected? For some things, you probably are. But others, not so much. While you might be prepared for emergencies at home or a sudden business trip, chances are you are not prepared to get arrested. After all, very few people live their lives thinking that being arrested is a possibility.

However, it happens, and it happens more often than you might realize. And you do not need to do anything major for it to happen; just forgetting to pay parking tickets can lead to your arrest. Should you find yourself in custody, you will want out as soon as possible, and that is where we step in to help. Herbert Bail Bonds will post bail for you and get you out of custody as quickly as possible.

The team at Herbert Bail Bonds has been helping those arrested in Chino Hills get out of jail for over 45 years. We work quickly and efficiently, ensuring that you are back to life in minimal time. And we handle everything for you, from coordinating payment to filling out the paperwork; all we need from you are a few signatures. 24/7, 365 days a year, Herbert Bail Bonds is here for you.

What Is a Bail Bond?

Do you know what a bail bond is? Chances are you’ve heard the term before, likely on television, but only have a basic understanding of what it is. We all understand that it gets us out of jail, but before you pay for our service, we want you to know exactly what you are getting.

Bail bonds have two parts: the posting of bail and the bond. Bail is essentially an insurance policy for the legal system; you pay it to be released and they hold it until you attend all court appearances related to your case. The bond is the actual assurance that you will make those appearances. Failing to attend a single court date results in the courts keeping the money. If you use a bail bondsman, the bondsman will collect on the loss. In addition, a warrant will be issued for your arrest and the arresting institution will have the option to deny further bail.

So, how much will bail be? This varies from case to case. Bail is determined by the San Bernardino County bail schedule; each crime has a bail range, and your bail will depend on the crime you are being accused of.

Even for low bail amounts, many arrested individuals feel that it is better to use a bail bondsman than to pay the amount themselves. Sometimes they just do not have immediate access to the funds needed. In other cases, it is just more convenient to let someone else do the paperwork. No matter your reason for choosing us, when we work with you, we do everything we can to get you out of custody quickly, and with minimal effort on your part.

The San Bernardino County Department of Corrections Can Be Tricky

If you are arrested in Chino Hills, the most likely place you will be taken is the Chino Hills Police Department. After booking, you will be placed in their holding area. The Chino Hills Jail is a Type I facility, which means it has limited amenities and can hold only a few inmates at a time. Because it does not offer everything needed for an extended stay, inmates at Chino Hills Jail are held for a maximum of 96 hours. However, it is rare that an inmate will be kept that long before being transferred to a larger correctional facility. These facilities offer more amenities, but they are much more crowded and can be more dangerous.

Because you do not want to be transferred to a larger facility, the goal is to get you out of custody as fast as possible, ensuring that the transfer does not take place. Keep in mind, you do not have 96 hours to coordinate this; in many cases, inmates will be transferred out of Chino Hills Jail within a few hours, not four days. Also understand that processing times at the larger facilities are much longer, which means that the bail process will take much longer than it would at the Chino Hills Jail.

Of course, if you are transferred, we don’t want you to lose hope. We know the San Bernardino County detention centers well and can still speed up the process for you. Whether you are at Central Detention Center, High Desert Detention Center, or West Valley Detention Center, we can come post bail and get you out of custody.

We Have the Experience You Need

When you do a job for nearly five decades, you get very good at it. And since we have been in the business for over 45 years, you can rest assured that we know everything there is to know about our job. While those new to the profession have a learning curve that will affect your results, we do not. We have the forms memorized, we know the timelines we are working with, and we know the people to turn to. As a result, the process is smooth and fast for you.

We Work to Make the Process Convenient for You

Even under the best circumstances, being taken into custody is stressful. Because we know you are going through enough as it is, we make certain that working with us never adds to your stress. We do everything we can to make things convenient for you, coming to you to get the process started or to the home of a friend or family member. And we even make arrangements via fax and phone to assist those with no one local to help. When you work with us, you can just sit back and take it as easy as possible knowing that we will have you out of custody quickly.

Paying for Your Bail Bond

When you choose Herbert Bail Bonds, the process of paying for bail is easy. We are flexible with payment, taking both money and various forms of collateral. Your payment to us is a fraction of the cost of your bail, either 10% or 8%, depending on the circumstances. To be eligible for the 8% fee, you must meet one of the following criteria:

  •        The arrested party has retained a private criminal defense attorney.
  •        A party to the transaction is a member of a workers’ union
  •        A party to the transaction is a veteran or active member of the United States Military.

In addition to accepting collateral, we also offer flexible financing and repayment options. In some cases, a cosigner will be needed.
